In the age of books and classics being converted into movies, it is common for people to come up with comparisons. A high handedness emerges from the book readers claiming deviation of the plot from the book and debate ensues. But in my case, it was not a comparison between a book and a film or series rather a comparison of reality and then experiencing the same while reading a book. The book was from a author who is well known to mix fact with fiction intricately and even this time he did not disappoint.

To Saunter or Not to

The first thing after reading this title that I wrote was why I am using a fancy word for walking leisurely. But alas I’m too engrossed in romanticizing walking as do people to running. I came across this word first reading about Aristotle and his “School of Peripatetics” which was his way of bringing clarity to thoughts while walking. He used to teach while walking and run thought experiments. But I’m not always thinking about such critical things while walking and hence I stuck upon Saunter which is more like wandering without any aim. For me this is the time actually where I’m thinking so much on so many things that I pick up random rabbit holes of knowledge, end up reading too much enough to conclude that there is so much more to that topic and the cycle continues.
